What do you mean there is no rapture?

Unfortunately, many Christians believe and many Pastors preach that a private rapture or “snatching up of Christians” will happen 7 years prior to Jesus’ Second Coming.  Thus saints would not be here for the great tribulation period.  This teaching is fear based and is not Biblical as there is no scripture supporting it.  The main scripture that folks use that believe in a pre-tribulation rapture is actually referring to the Day of the Lord.  This is the day when Jesus comes back at the end of the world where judgment (destruction) of the wicked occurs and all saints rise up to meet Jesus in the clouds.

So yes, at the end, all Christians living (and even the dead in Christ) at the time of Jesus Christ's return will rise up (be resurrected) to meet Him in the clouds.  However, in context, three verses later, Paul is clearly referring to the Day of the Lord.  (** Please see the "1 Thes 4 and 5" and "Day of the Lord" Area of Studies - many more scriptures here are discussed in depth)

2 Thessalonians 2:2   That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

  2 Thessalonians 2:3   Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
